Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) is the Philippine regulatory body that regulates the outflow of Filipino nationals for temporary overseas employment. Thus, all outgoing Filipino nationals must register their employment with the POEA, conversely, Foreign Employers and Recruitment Agencies must first be authorized by POEA to engage in any recruitment activities of Filipino workers.
