The PLACEMENT FEE is a charge paid by a candidate to his PHILIPPINE RECRUITMENT AGENCY that cannot be more than one month's salary, EXCEPT for household service workers (nannies, carers, housekeepers, etc.) who are EXEMPTED from payment of any placement fee.

Important Notes:

- payment may only be made AFTER SIGNING of contract

- an official receipt must be issued to the candidate as proof of payment with the total amount paid

- cannot be more than ONE MONTH SALARY

- HSW are exempted from paying

- must only be paid to authorized representatives of the agency, and in the premises of the agency's office

Expenses charged to the Employer


  • Visa/Work Permit
  • POEA Processing Fees
  • OWWA Membership
  • Airfare 
  • Accommodation (can be in the form of Allowance)


Any additional charges made directly or indirectly by any party for the purpose of deployment is punishable in Philippine laws.
